Egypt's Housing Minister Oversees City Services During Eid Holiday

Minister of Housing, Utilities and New Urban Communities Randa Al‑Manshawi inspected the operations of new‑city agencies during the Eid al‑Adha holidays. She reported that teams continued routine maintenance, cleaning, lighting, traffic control and rapid response to citizen complaints across several new‑city locations, including Badr, the 10th of Ramadan, Shorouk, Al‑Obour and the new‑city of Minya. The minister stressed the importance of uninterrupted essential services, swift handling of violations such as illegal vehicle movement and unauthorized water‑network tampering, and the readiness of emergency units. City‑level heads confirmed that campaigns to remove illegal water connections, clear waste, repair streetlights and maintain green spaces proceeded at full capacity despite the holiday, aiming to preserve urban appearance and public safety.

These coordinated efforts reflect the government's commitment to sustain service quality and urban order throughout national holidays.
