Atalanta defeats Pafos 3-1 amid growing injury crisis

Atalanta secured a 3-1 victory against Pafos in the Conference League, with goals from Eljif Elmas, Giacomo Raspadori, and Gianluca Scamacca. Despite the win, the club faces a growing injury crisis that threatens their upcoming fixtures.

Giacomo Raspadori, who was named Player of the Match, is expected to be sidelined for at least three weeks following a physical issue sustained during the match. This injury adds to a significant list of unavailable players for manager Maurizio Sarri, including Scalvini, Kessie, Hien, Kossounou, and Sulemana.

In addition to the physical injuries, the squad must also contend with the suspension of Eljif Elmas. These absences pose a challenge for the team as they prepare for high-stakes matches, including an upcoming fixture against Milan.
