Ateme forms partnerships with Comcast and Zixi for video delivery

Ateme has entered into two significant technical partnerships aimed at advancing live video delivery and distribution technologies.

A collaboration with Comcast Technology Solutions (CTS) will integrate Ateme’s TITAN compression, NEA platform, and Ateme+ SaaS into the Comcast Media360 platform. This integration is intended to improve video quality and operational efficiency across broadcast and streaming workflows by combining CTS’s media services with Ateme’s compression and OTT delivery capabilities.

Separately, Ateme and Zixi have announced a co-engineered partnership to assist broadcast operators in transitioning from legacy C-band satellite links to managed IP and cloud infrastructure. The collaboration integrates Zixi’s software-defined video transport platform with Ateme’s encoding software. This architecture utilizes multi-path telemetry and error-correction protocols to enable broadcast-grade stream delivery across public internet, commercial IP backhaul, and hybrid satellite networks.
