IP-based live video delivery technology partnerships

The media technology sector is seeing increased collaboration between hardware and software providers to facilitate the transition from legacy satellite links to IP-based video workflows.

In early September 2026, Ateme announced partnerships with Comcast Technology Solutions and Zixi. The Ateme-Comcast collaboration integrates compression and SaaS platforms into the Comcast Media360 platform to improve broadcast and streaming efficiency. Simultaneously, Ateme and Zixi partnered to help operators move from C-band satellite links to managed IP and cloud infrastructure using multi-path telemetry and error-correction protocols.

Following these developments, Magewell and Zixi expanded their existing partnership to provide end-to-end workflows for transporting live video over public and hybrid IP networks. This solution combines Magewell’s encoders and decoders with Zixi’s transport technology to mitigate packet loss and latency. The integrated system, managed via Zixi ZEN Master, has already been deployed by a major U.S. streaming service for live IP video operations.
