Athens Anti‑Racism Festival Kicks Off July 3, 2026

The 27th Anti‑Racism Festival opened in Athens on Friday, 3 July 2026, and will run through Sunday, 5 July, at the Αλσος Γουδή venue. The three‑day event brings together cultural, artistic and activist programmes aimed at confronting racism, sexism and other forms of oppression.

The festival schedule features discussions on topics such as European defence spending, labor struggles in the United States, refugee rights, water scarcity and women's emancipation, alongside film screenings and a diverse lineup of musical performances. Artists and groups slated to play include Rationalistas, ΔΥΟ_ΜΗΔΕΝ ΔΥΟ_ΜΗΔΕΝ + dj Unwound, SIBA, ΧΑΡΑ x SODA, SAVINA, Social Waste, Banda Entopica and many others. Food stalls offering global cuisines will accompany the events, reinforcing the festival’s message of solidarity and inclusive celebration.
