Athens Kifisos Avenue Traffic Jam Persists

Heavy traffic continues on Athens' Kifisos Avenue, where vehicles are moving at low speeds in both directions, especially around Peristeri, Lenormann and Athinon Avenue. Similar congestion is reported on Kifissias Avenue near Psychiko and Holargos, as well as on Mesogeion, Alexandras, Signgrou and the streets surrounding Constitution Square, Omonia and the city centre.

Drivers are advised to allow extra travel time and consider alternative routes where possible. While the main thoroughfare experiences severe delays, traffic on Attiki Odos and most southern and eastern suburban roads remains relatively smooth.
