Athens Metro Line 3 stations to close early for maintenance

Athens Metro Line 3 will implement temporary nighttime service adjustments from Monday, September 7, through Thursday, September 10, due to scheduled railway track replacement works.

During this period, the Eleonas, Kerameikos, and Monastiraki stations will close early at 21:40, which is 2.5 hours before their standard closing time. Consequently, train traffic on Line 3 will operate only between the Dimotiko Theatro – Egaleo stations and the Syntagma – Doukissa Plakentia – Airport stations.

To assist passengers, OASA is deploying a temporary bus line, X24, which will run between Syntagma Metro Station and Egaleo Metro Station, passing through the closed stations to maintain connectivity. Specific schedules for the final trains and airport-bound services have been adjusted to accommodate the technical works.
