Athens Metro Line 3 stations to close early until September 24
Athens Metro Line 3 will implement temporary nighttime service adjustments until Thursday, September 24, due to ongoing railway track replacement works in the Eleonas – Monastiraki section.
During this period, the Eleonas, Kerameikos, and Monastiraki stations will close early at 21:40, approximately two and a half hours before the scheduled end of service. Train traffic on Line 3 will continue in two separate segments: between Dimotiko Theatro – Egaleo and Syntagma – Dim. Plakentias – Airport.
For travelers heading to or from the airport, service will be modified after 21:40. Trains toward the airport will depart from Syntagma station, while trains arriving from the airport will terminate at Syntagma. To assist passengers, OASA is operating a temporary X24 bus line connecting Syntagma Metro Station and Egaleo Metro Station, which will pass through the closed stations.
