Athens traffic faces major delays on Kifissos and Attiki Odos

Major traffic congestion is affecting several key roads and highways across the Athens metropolitan area. Significant delays are reported on Kifissos Avenue, particularly between Egaleo and Nea Filadelfeia, where vehicles are moving at low speeds.

Athens Avenue is also experiencing heavy traffic from Haidari to Skaramagas. In central Athens, increased volume is noted on Kifissias, Mesogeion, Alexandras, Vassileos Konstantinou, and Vassilissas Sofias avenues. Additional delays are occurring on Syggrou Avenue and in the Piraeus port area, as well as on Kareas Avenue between Ilioupoli and Alimos-Katéchaki.

On the Attiki Odos motorway, substantial delays are affecting both directions. Toward the airport, delays exceed 30 minutes from Fylis to Kifissias. Toward Elefsina, delays range from 15 to 20 minutes from Anthousa to Kifissias.
