Athens Metro Line 3 stations to close early for maintenance

Athens Metro Line 3 will implement nighttime traffic adjustments from Monday, September 7, through Thursday, September 10, due to ongoing railway track replacement works. During this period, the stations Eleonas, Kerameikos, and Monastiraki will close early at 21:40, which is two and a half hours before their scheduled closing time.

As a result of these works, train services on Line 3 will operate in two separate sections: between Dimotiko Theatro – Egaleo and Syntagma – Dim. Plakentias – Airport. For passengers traveling to and from the airport, the last full-route trains will depart from Dimotiko Theatro at 21:06 and from the Airport at 21:10. After the 21:40 closure, airport-bound trains will depart from Syntagma station, while trains from the airport will terminate at Syntagma.

To assist passengers, OASA is deploying a temporary bus line, X24, which will run between Syntagma Metro Station and Egaleo Metro Station from 21:40 until the end of metro operations, covering the closed stations.
