Athens University of Economics and Business earns full ‘Excellent’ accreditation for all postgraduate programs
The Athens University of Economics and Business (AUEB) announced that all of its 29 postgraduate programmes have been fully accredited with an “Excellent” rating by Greece’s National Authority for Higher Education (EThAAE). The evaluation awarded the highest “Fully Compliant” score to the vast majority of programmes, with 25 of them meeting the criteria on the first invitation and the remaining four completing the process on the second round.
The university highlighted that this achievement makes AUEB one of the first Greek institutions to have every postgraduate programme fully certified, reflecting high academic quality, operational readiness, and effective administration. Vice‑Rector for Academic Affairs and Personnel, Professor Leonidas Doukakis, said the full certification underscores the collective effort of departments, programme directors, faculty, and university staff.
AUEB will continue to invest in quality improvement, internationalisation, and alignment with labour‑market needs, aiming to maintain its competitive standing in higher education.
