Athletic competitions announced for Turopolje and Split

Croatia is hosting two upcoming athletic competitions. The third edition of the Turopolje Trail Ključić Brdo, organized by Atletski klub Turopolje, will take place on September 12 at the Ključić Brdo excursion site. The event is part of the KontinenTrail league of central Croatia and features four different routes ranging from a 4 km walk to a 25 km trail run. Croatian mountain running champion Nikola Špoljar is among the participants.

Additionally, the Split TRI triathlon will be held on October 3 at the Žnjan location. This edition features a new course due to roadworks near Marjan. The event includes a sprint triathlon for experienced athletes, a super sprint for beginners, and an aquathlon for children under 12. The competition aims to establish Split as a recognized location within the global triathlon community.
