Atlanta home of Georgia election official targeted in shooting
More than 30 shots were fired at the Atlanta home of Robert Sinners, the Communications Director for Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger. The incident occurred shortly after midnight on a Thursday morning on Wellington Street SW. Sinners and his fiancée were asleep in the house at the time, but no injuries were reported.
Police engaged in a foot chase and exchanged gunfire with suspects following the shooting. Two individuals, 29-year-old Jermaine Howard and 26-year-old Gregory Vaughn, have been arrested. A third suspect remains at large. While the shooting targeted the home of a high-ranking election official, preliminary evidence suggests the motive was not politically motivated.
