Atlante to honor Christian Bermúdez at Estadio Banorte

Atlante FC has announced a tribute for midfielder Christian ‘Hobbit’ Bermúdez, to be held this Friday, October 16, at Estadio Banorte. The ceremony will take place during the club’s match against Pumas as part of the 12th round of the Liga MX Apertura season.

Bermúdez, 39, is considered a legend of the club, having played for Atlante during its most significant eras, including the 2007 league title win. Throughout his professional career, he has secured multiple titles, including Liga MX and CONCACAF Champions League honors. Currently serving as a substitute under manager Miguel ‘Piojo’ Herrera, Bermúdez is entering the final stages of his playing career.
