Atlantic County authorities capture sixth fugitive from most wanted list

Six of the ten fugitives on the Atlantic County Sheriff's Office Most Wanted list have been captured since the list was released several weeks ago.

The most recent arrest involved 58-year-old Adrian Abney, who was apprehended by the U.S. Marshals Service on Germantown Avenue in Philadelphia. Abney was wanted on an Atlantic County Superior Court warrant for aggravated assault.

The arrests resulted from a coordinated effort between the Atlantic County Sheriff's Office, local law enforcement, the U.S. Marshals Regional Fugitive Task Force, and various state and federal agencies. Four fugitives currently remain at large.
