Atlantic County Sheriff’s Department captures three top fugitives

The Atlantic County Sheriff’s Department in New Jersey has announced the capture of three individuals from its Top 10 Most Wanted Fugitives list. These arrests occurred within two weeks of Sheriff Joe O’Donoghue announcing the new list.

Quincy Knight was arrested by the Pleasantville Police Department on August 18, 2026. Brian Nixon was taken into custody in Pleasantville on August 28, 2026, following an operation involving the USMS Regional Fugitive Task Force Atlantic County Division, the Atlantic County Sheriff’s Office Fugitive Unit, and the New Jersey State Parole Board. Nixon surrendered without incident and was lodged in the Atlantic County Justice Facility.

Oratile Moeng was also apprehended on August 28, 2026, in Egg Harbor City. The arrest was the result of an investigation by the USMS Regional Fugitive Task Force Atlantic County Division and the Atlantic County Sheriff’s Office Fugitive Warrant Unit. Moeng has also been transported to the Atlantic County Justice Facility.
