ATP Lyon and Almaty Open draws announced

The ATP 250 tournament in Lyon, known as the Grand Prix Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, is set to debut on October 19. Replacing the historic Marseille tournament, the event will be played on indoor hard courts. The draw features top seeds such as Flavio Cobolli and Taylor Fritz, with Fritz entering the competition in the second round. Other notable participants include Stan Wawrinka, who enters via a wild card, and Matteo Berrettini.

In Kazakhstan, the Almaty Open draw presents a potential historic matchup for Greek tennis. Following successful qualifying rounds against Biryukov and Sevcenco, Stefanos Sakellaridis is scheduled to face Mikhail Kukushkin in the first round. If Sakellaridis advances, he could face Stefanos Tsitsipas in the second round, provided Tsitsipas defeats Aleksandar Kovacevic in his opening match.
