ATR/BPN launches scheduled land measurement service in Indonesia

The Indonesian Ministry of Agraria and Spatial Planning/National Land Agency (ATR/BPN) has launched a scheduled land measurement service. This new system allows citizens to select their preferred measurement dates based on the availability of surveying officers, providing greater certainty regarding waiting times and the completion of Land Parcel Maps (PBT).

Virgo Eresta Jaya, Director General of Land and Spatial Survey and Mapping, stated that the service is currently implemented in 466 Land Offices across Indonesia. The process consists of a 7-day waiting period followed by 5 days for the measurement and product completion, totaling a 12-day service period.

To ensure efficiency, officials advise applicants to clearly define land boundaries by installing fences or boundary markers before requesting the service. Applicants are also encouraged to be present at the location during the scheduled time.
