HEDNO announces planned power outages across Attica and central Greece

HEDNO (ΔΕΔΔΗΕ) has announced a series of planned power outages across several regions in Greece to facilitate essential maintenance, reinforcement, and upgrading of the electrical distribution networks.

In the Attica region, outages are scheduled for October 15 and 16, affecting numerous municipalities including Athens, Peristeri, Egaleo, Nikaia, Piraeus, Kifisia, Marousi, and Glyfada. The interruptions vary in duration, with some starting as early as 06:30 and lasting until late afternoon.

In central Greece, scheduled cuts will affect the Larissa prefecture and the municipalities of Lamia and Lokroi between October 16 and October 18. These outages impact various residential areas, industrial facilities, and local businesses, including meat industries and agricultural cooperatives. HEDNO notes that while efforts are made to restore power as quickly as possible, technical difficulties may cause slight variations in the scheduled times.
