Attica Roots Festival hosts Gadjo Dilo concert in Athens

The Attica Roots Festival, organized by the Region of Attica, presented a series of free concerts in July 2026. On Sunday 12 July, the band Gadjo Dilo performed at Platia Dexamenis in Kolonaki, Athens. Their repertoire fuses Greek popular songs from the 1950s‑60s with gypsy swing and manouche jazz, creating a distinctive sound the group calls “Manouche De Grec”. The festival also featured composer‑singer Evantía Rempoutska on Friday 10 July at the pre‑museum area of the National Archaeological Museum, continuing the programme’s aim to link musical heritage with historic sites.
