Attiki Odos Bridge Closure Halts Traffic on July 20‑21
The New Attiki Odos announced a temporary full closure of the Service Stations (SEAs) Mesogeion bridge in the Paiania municipality. The restriction runs from 23:30 GMT on Monday 20 July 2026 until 06:00 GMT on Tuesday 21 July 2026 and applies to both directions of traffic.
During the closure the bridge connecting the two service stations is also closed. Vehicles are rerouted via the exit ramp of the SEAs Mesogeion, travel on the temporary detour, and re‑enter the highway through the corresponding entry ramp. Drivers are urged to observe the temporary road signs, comply with police directions and reduce speed to avoid delays.
The operator confirmed that all safety measures and signage have been installed to ensure smooth flow despite the interruption.
