Attilio Dadda re-elected to the International Cooperative Alliance global Board

Attilio Dadda, President of Legacoop Lombardia and Vice President of Legacoop, has been re-elected to the global Board of the International Cooperative Alliance (ICA). The election took place in Panama during the organization's General Assembly.

Dadda received 494 votes, making him the fourth most-voted candidate globally and the first in Europe. His second mandate will focus on the role of cooperatives in conflict zones, climate crisis reconstruction, and the promotion of a social economy designed to reduce inequality and support the common good.

The ICA is an international organization representing cooperative movements across various sectors, including consumer, credit, agricultural, and social cooperatives. The global board is responsible for strategic governance, setting action priorities, and advocacy efforts to promote the cooperative business model on a global scale.
