Attorney General's Office investigates free nutritious meal program corruption

The Attorney General's Office (Kejagung) is continuing its investigation into alleged corruption regarding the management of the free nutritious meal (MBG) program at the National Nutrition Agency (BGN) for the 2025-2026 period.

Investigators from the Junior Attorney General for Special Crimes (Jampidsus) recently questioned seven witnesses, including a provider of kitchen equipment for the Paslaten and Lopana SPPG facilities, a technical expert from the BGN, and representatives from several foundations including RMM, CA, AHP, NFIE, and IFSR. The Attorney General's Office stated that these examinations aim to strengthen evidence and complete the case files.

Six suspects have already been identified in the corruption case, including former Head of the National Nutrition Agency, Dadan Hindayana, and two former Deputy Heads, Sony Sonjaya and Lodewyk Pusung.
