Audi launches new RS 5 plug-in hybrid model

Audi has launched the new RS 5, a high-performance model featuring a plug-in hybrid powertrain that combines a V6 biturbo engine with an electric motor. The vehicle is available for order in Spain, with prices starting at 125,900 euros for the Sedan and 128,000 euros for the Avant.

The development of the RS 5 utilized a collaborative international approach, integrating engine development from Neckarsulm, Germany, with technical engineering from Audi Hungría in Győr. This cross-border cooperation focused on the complex integration of the new hybrid propulsion system, ensuring coordinated workflows from the initial concept through to mass production.
