Audi Q3 debuts in India ahead of October launch

Audi has unveiled the third-generation Q3 in India, marking the debut of its latest entry-level luxury SUV. The vehicle is scheduled for a market launch in October, likely coinciding with the Diwali festive season.

The new Q3 features a redesigned exterior with a larger grille, split LED headlamps, and a more aggressive stance. It measures 4,531 mm in length and 1,859 mm in width. The interior has been substantially updated with a technology-focused layout, including a 12.8-inch central touchscreen and an 11.9-inch digital instrument display.

Technical specifications for the India-spec model are expected to include a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine producing approximately 200hp, paired with a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission and Audi’s quattro all-wheel-drive system. The vehicle will continue to be locally assembled in India. While official pricing is yet to be confirmed, it is expected to be around Rs. 60 lakhs (ex-showroom), positioning it against competitors such as the BMW X1 and Mercedes-Benz GLA.
