Further expanding its presence, Audi has confirmed the upcoming launch of the Audi Q9 in India, expected in the first half of next year. Additionally, Audi continues to develop the first-ever SQ3 high-performance variant.
To support long-term growth, Audi India is evaluating the feasibility of locally manufacturing battery-electric vehicles (BEV) to mitigate high import duties. This move is part of a strategy to increase the company’s luxury market share from approximately 8% to between 15% and 16% over the next three to five years. The company is also monitoring the potential India-European Union free trade agreement to gauge demand before committing to specific local production plans.
