Audi to launch third-generation Q3 in India on October 16

Audi is scheduled to launch the third-generation Q3 in India on October 16. This new model will replace the current second-generation version, which has been on sale in the country for approximately four years. The new Q3 is expected to be assembled locally in India.

The India-spec model will feature an exclusive 2.0-litre direct-injection turbo-petrol engine. While official output figures have not been confirmed, the engine is anticipated to produce approximately 204hp and 320Nm of torque. It is expected to be paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox and Audi’s Quattro all-wheel-drive system, which is likely to be standard across all variants.

Design updates include a split-headlamp arrangement with configurable daytime running lights, 18-inch dual-tone alloy wheels, and split tail-lamps. The interior will receive a technology upgrade featuring a dual-screen setup for the digital instrument cluster and infotainment system, alongside a Sonos audio system and a panoramic sunroof.
