Australian Labor Party leads in national polls as One Nation support slips

A Roy Morgan survey of 1,584 voters (29 June‑5 July) shows the Australian Labor Party (ALP) holding 28% primary support, unchanged, while One Nation fell to 22.5%, down 3.5 points. The Liberal‑National Coalition remains at 21.5% (Liberals 19%, Nationals 2.5%). In two‑party‑preferred terms the ALP leads One Nation 56%‑44% and the Coalition 55%‑45%. The Greens rose to 14%.

A Redbridge poll in Victoria (5,516 respondents, 17‑28 June) puts One Nation at 27% primary, just ahead of Labor and the Coalition at 26% each. Preferences give the Coalition a two‑point lead over Labor (54‑46) and Labor a one‑point edge over One Nation (52‑48). The poll suggests right‑wing parties could secure a majority of upper‑house seats. Premier Jacinta Allan recorded a net favourability of –42, while Liberal leader Jess Wilson posted +13, and Pauline Hanson –9.
