Australian PM Albanese cautions One Nation voters, cites fuel stock levels

Prime Minister Anthony Albanese responded to One Nation senator Malcolm Roberts' claim that COVID‑19 vaccines caused miscarriages, calling the statement a conspiracy theory and warning voters about supporting fringe politicians. Albanese said Roberts has a history of promoting false and dangerous ideas, including labeling the United States as a terrorist organization.

During his weekly fuel update, Albanese reported that Australia has about 6.5 billion litres of fuel in total – enough for 46 days of petrol, 39 days of diesel and 34 days of jet fuel. He noted 55 ships are en route with a further 3.2 billion litres expected over the next four weeks and urged the public not to hoard fuel.
