Australian tourist deported from Bali after public indecency
An Australian tourist, 27-year-old Billy Aspinall, has been deported from Indonesia and issued a ten-year ban from entering the country following an incident in Bali.
Authorities reported that Aspinall and a female companion were captured on security cameras engaging in sexual acts on a private property driveway in North Kuta. A local resident heading to prayer reportedly witnessed the act and urged the pair to stop, but they allegedly continued for approximately 15 minutes. Following the incident, local residents conducted a purification ceremony at the property to cleanse it of 'negative energies.'
Aspinall was detained at Bali International Airport two days later while attempting to board a flight back to Australia. After spending approximately two weeks in an immigration detention center, he was deported. Indonesian authorities noted that public indecency is illegal under strict local pornography and sexual behavior laws.
