Bali tourist deported and banned from Indonesia for 10 years

An Australian tourist, 27-year-old Billy Aspinall, has been deported from Indonesia and issued a 10-year entry ban following an incident in Bali. The individual was captured on security cameras engaging in sexual acts with a woman in a public area in North Kuta on August 22.

According to reports, a local resident witnessed the act while heading to prayer and urged the couple to stop, but they reportedly ignored the warnings for approximately 15 minutes. Following the incident, local residents conducted a traditional purification ceremony at the site to cleanse the area of negative energy.

Aspinall was detained at Bali International Airport while attempting to return to Australia and spent approximately two weeks in immigration detention before being expelled. The identity of the woman involved has not been established, though authorities believe she is also a foreign national.
