Australia's major mining expos QME 2026 in Mackay and AIMEX 2027 in Adelaide announced

The Queensland Mining & Engineering Exhibition (QME) 2026 will open on 21 July 2026 at the Mackay Showgrounds in Queensland. The three‑day event will host more than 350 exhibitors, including global brands such as Milwaukee Tool, Hitachi Construction Machinery, Epiroc, and mining operators like Glencore, BHP Mitsubishi Alliance, and Whitehaven Coal. QME is expected to draw over 5,000 visitors and will feature a Mining Pavilion, a Leadership Series on safety and productivity, and extensive networking opportunities.

The Asia‑Pacific International Mining Exhibition (AIMEX) 2027 is scheduled for 28‑30 September 2027 at the Adelaide Showground. AIMEX will showcase automation, AI, digital systems, and critical‑minerals technologies in its Transformation Tech Zone, and will host an International Mining Pavilion, a Stewardship Summit on responsible mining, and a Renewable, EV and Tech Showcase. Thousands of industry professionals and hundreds of exhibitors are expected to attend, with a focus on the sector’s role in the energy transition.

Both events are organized by Prime Creative Media, and relationship manager Rebecca Todesco highlighted the exhibitions as key platforms for industry collaboration, innovation, and market development.
