WSG Tirol defeats Austria Lustenau 4-0 to secure first season win

WSG Tirol secured their first victory of the season in the Admiral Bundesliga with a dominant 4-0 away win against Austria Lustenau. Played in heavy rain before 4,219 spectators, the match saw WSG Tirol take control early on.

Michael Olakigbe opened the scoring with a volley following a deflected cross from Husein Balic. Nikolai Baden Frederiksen then scored twice, including a penalty awarded after a VAR review of a collision involving Lustenau goalkeeper Phillip Böhm. Marc Striednig added a third goal with a header from a corner kick.

The win allows WSG Tirol to move out of the bottom of the table, temporarily occupying seventh place. For Austria Lustenau, the defeat ends an impressive unbeaten home streak.
