Police across Switzerland, Germany and Austria seize speeders, drug dealers and arrest exhibitionists

In Switzerland, Luzern police arrested two motorcyclists after a months‑long investigation; one was recorded at 246 km/h on the A2 tunnel and the other at 190 km/h, leading to licence suspensions and seizure of the bikes. In Austria, highway patrol on the Großglockner Hochalpenstraße stopped several racers, including a German rider at 130 km/h (limit 70) and an Italian rider at 129 km/h, and temporarily withdrew their licences.

German states reported a series of public‑order offences. Unterfranken police recorded four intoxicated drivers, among them a 37‑year‑old drunk driver and a cannabis‑using scooter rider. In Walldorf a 41‑year‑old was pepper‑sprayed by three young men. In Regensdorf a 27‑year‑old shooter surrendered without injury, and in Erfurt a 16‑year‑old was injured by a teenager wielding a telescopic baton.

Drug busts included Erlangen police seizing a large quantity of narcotics and arresting two men aged 23 and 24 on suspicion of drug trafficking. In Carinthia’s Spittal an‑d‑der Drau, officers stopped a 74‑year‑old driver; a positive saliva test led to the seizure of kilograms of cocaine, methamphetamine and packaging material, and his 37‑year‑old passenger was also detained.

Exhibitionist assaults were reported in Würzburg, where police are seeking a 60‑year‑old man who performed lewd acts on a woman at a Main riverside bathing spot, and in Erlangen, where a 52‑year‑old Croatian was arrested after exposing himself to two 11‑year‑old boys on the Main‑Donau‑Canal, with DNA sampling and a detention order.
