Austrian ski teams begin South American training camps

The Austrian Ski Federation (ÖSV) has begun its annual seasonal preparations in South America. Athletes from the Ski Austria Alpin teams are traveling to training camps in Argentina and Chile to prepare for upcoming World Cup and European Cup races.

Logistics provider DSV is managing the transport of approximately 17 tons of equipment, consisting of roughly 400 packages, including skis and service gear. Over the next two weeks, additional groups will arrive at various locations such as La Parva, El Colorado, Valle Nevado, Portillo, and Ushuaia.

Christian Mitter, the Alpine Sport Director, highlighted the necessity of reliable logistics for these overseas camps, noting that the infrastructure is essential for providing the teams with optimal conditions for the upcoming winter season.
