Balcarce Autodrome reopens with TC Pista Pick Up racing

The Juan Manuel Fangio Autodrome in Balcarce is set to reopen this weekend following extensive renovations, marking a significant return for Argentine motorsport. The event features the 8th round of the TC Pista Pick Up series and the 5th round of Turismo Special de la Costa.

Preparatory activities are taking place across the region, including promotional vehicle parades in Mar del Plata and Tandil. The official reopening ceremony, which includes a ribbon-cutting event, is scheduled for Friday and is expected to be attended by Governor Axel Kicillof along with municipal and ACTC authorities.

Driver Tomás Pellandino, who recently secured a victory in Rosario, expressed high expectations for the Balcarce circuit, noting its unique history and atmosphere. The weekend's schedule includes autograph signings, fan meet-and-greets, and competitive racing on Saturday and Sunday.
