Authenticity and Modernity Party outlines 2026 election platform in Morocco

Ahead of the 2026 legislative elections, Morocco’s Authenticity and Modernity Party (PAM) has outlined a political program focused on reforming public services, specifically in health and education. The party’s ‘Citizenship Pact’ aims to create a competitive public hospital system and address territorial disparities. Key proposals include establishing 24-hour specialized gynecological-obstetric medical services nationwide and completing four new regional university hospitals in Béni Mellal, Guelmim, Errachidia, and Casablanca by 2028.

During a meeting in Dakhla, PAM official Fouzi Lekjaa criticized the current government’s trajectory, alleging it has harmed citizen purchasing power. Lekjaa proposed raising the minimum wage to 5,000 dirhams and questioned the allocation of 130 billion dirhams previously approved to combat social and territorial inequalities. The party intends to allocate 210 billion dirhams within its own program to address various social issues and emphasized the need for inclusive development across all regions.
