Authorities launch international search for missing Maximiliano Martínez

Authorities in Argentina and Bolivia are conducting a coordinated search for Maximiliano Oscar Martínez, who has been missing since September 8. The investigation is being led by Prosecutor Alberto Omar Mendívil of the La Quiaca Preparatory Criminal Investigation Prosecutor's Office.

Due to reports that Martínez may have crossed the border into Villazón, Bolivia, the Ministerio Público de la Acusación is working alongside Bolivian police to exchange information and expand search efforts. The search involves multiple agencies, including the Jujuy Provincial Police, Gendarmería Nacional, and the Argentine Federal Police.

As part of the international effort, the Prosecutor's Office requested and successfully activated an Interpol yellow alert to facilitate the search through international cooperation mechanisms.
