Authors present new novels at Latin American book fairs

Several authors are presenting new works at major book fairs in Latin America.

In Argentina, Maximiliano Salgado will present his new novel, ‘El último prompt’, at the LEO Libros stand during the Book Fair on Saturday, October 3. The novel blends science fiction with journalistic thriller elements, exploring the impact of artificial intelligence on journalism and how algorithms decide which stories are worthy of attention.

In Ecuador, writer and jurist Íñigo Salvador officially presented his historical crime novel, ‘Moral de lobos’, at the Quito International Book Fair. Published by Planeta de Libros, the story is a sequel to ‘Miércoles Santo’ and is set in the Royal Audience of Quito in 1765. The plot follows character Nuño Olmos as he investigates a series of murders amidst the social tensions and caste systems of the late 18th century.
