In Spain, celebrations include the III National Congress of Armaos and Roman Groups in Lorca, the Feramur craft fair, the Fiestas del Cristo in La Laguna, and various patron saint festivities. Literary gatherings include the Hay Festival in Segovia and the Back to the Book festival in Madrid.

In Mexico, Cuajimalpa has partnered with CANIEM to launch its inaugural book fair in October 2026. In the United States, the Uptown Kid Lit festival in Manhattan is set to provide free books and school supplies to families. Uruguay marks the inauguration of a new choir organ at the Cathedral of Salto.
