Auténtica 2026 to host gastronomy and food industry event in Seville

The fourth edition of Auténtica 2026 is scheduled to take place on September 14 and 15 at FIBES in Seville. The event aims to serve as a major meeting point for the food industry and high gastronomy, expecting to host over 12,000 professionals, 321 exhibiting companies, and 267 experts and speakers.

The Culinary Fest by Gusto del Sur will focus on the origin of food and the connections between cuisine, culture, and territory. Featured participants include renowned chefs such as Diego Guerrero, Esperanza Cano, Begoña Rodrigo, Carolina Álvarez, and Pepe Solla.

Special emphasis will be placed on maritime resources. Chef Ángel León will present a project exploring the relationship between innovation and the marshland environment, while Javier Olleros will discuss traditional knowledge with shellfish harvester Mari Lista. Other sessions will address generational succession in fishing and technical applications in meat and charcuterie.
