Automobile Club d'Italia reports 98,000 roadside interventions this summer

The Automobile Club d'Italia (ACI) reported significant activity during the first two months of the summer season, from June 15 to August 24, 2026. ACI President Geronimo La Russa announced at the Rimini Meeting that the organization conducted 98,000 roadside assistance interventions, with 25,000 of those cases provided directly to ACI members.

In addition to physical assistance, the organization focused on traffic information and road safety. Through the ‘Radiotraffic’ and ‘Luceverde’ channels, ACI disseminated 8,500 traffic and mobility news reports via local and national radio stations, official ACI channels, and various web platforms.

To maintain its 24/7 presence, ACI utilizes a network consisting of 2,000 assistance vehicles, 600 rescue centers, 2,000 employees, 1,500 delegations, and 98 provincial automobile clubs. The organization also highlighted its educational initiatives, including the ‘Ready2Go’ method and immersive visors for road safety education, which are being showcased at the Rimini Meeting.
