Alpine electric A110 debuts as manufacturers unveil new models at Goodwood Festival of Speed

French brand Alpine unveiled the development mule of its all‑electric A110 Future at the Goodwood Festival of Speed, with Alpine F1 driver Pierre Gasly and the Duke of Richmond completing the historic hill‑climb. The prototype runs on Alpine’s new 800‑volt Performance Platform, using a split‑battery layout (25 % front, 75 % rear) and two rear‑mounted electric motors with active torque‑vectoring, targeting a weight under 1 500 kg and power around 460 hp.

Italian marque Maserati used the same venue to present its updated GranTurismo family and announce Project GT4, a GranTurismo‑derived race car built to GT4 regulations and aimed at competition from 2028. The project shares the 3.0‑litre V6 Nettuno engine and emphasizes cost‑effective technology transfer from road to track.

Chinese‑British brand MG revealed two concepts: the MG GO! electric super‑mini, slated for a 2027 launch, and the MG Cyber SUV concept, both designed to shed the brand’s discount image and compete with models such as the Mini Cooper SE and Renault 5 e‑Tech.

Pirelli highlighted its P Zero tyre family, which equips many of the debuting cars at Goodwood, including the new Ferrari Luce, Bentley Supersports, Porsche Taycan Turbo GT and a bespoke P Zero E for the Ferrari model.

Overall, Goodwood served as a key European stage for manufacturers to showcase electric performance platforms, updated model ranges and racing‑grade technologies.
