Autumn safety and equipment for cyclists and motorcyclists

As autumn approaches, seasonal changes in weather and daylight are prompting reminders for commuters to prepare their equipment for safety and comfort.

In Apeldoorn, Netherlands, cyclists are advised to check their lighting, tires, and brakes to navigate wet leaves and shorter days. Dutch traffic regulations require bicycles to have working white or yellow lights at the front and red lights at the rear during darkness or poor visibility. Reflectors on wheels and pedals are also recommended to increase visibility to other road users.

For motorcyclists, LS2 has introduced an autumn urban equipment range designed for changing temperatures and rain. The collection includes the Axel softshell jacket with integrated waterproofing, the Warmride thermal jacket for added warmth, and Douglas pants featuring CE knee protections. The range also includes Jet III waterproof gloves to protect extremities from bad weather.
