Avellino hosts summer music and fairy tale festivals

The city of Avellino is hosting a series of summer cultural events, including the peak of the ‘Avellino Estate in Città’ program and the third edition of the ‘Festival delle Fiabe – Ti racconto la città’.

The music program features various performances, including the ‘Stacca!’ collective at Piazza Castello, a nostalgic musical journey by Simone Pastore, and classical vocal performances at the Dogana rooftop. The festivities also include religious traditions such as the Procession of the Assumption.

The Fairy Tale Festival, running from August 14 to September 6, 2026, is a collaborative project between the Municipality of Avellino and the Department for Family Policies. It involves 18 appointments across 13 city locations, including parks, monuments, and various neighborhoods. The initiative aims to engage children and families through theater, creative workshops, and traditional games, turning the city into a distributed laboratory for culture and socialization.
