The Province of Avellino has published an open tender for architecture and engineering services to create the ‘Polo Museale del Turismo Delle Radici – Migrantes’. The museum will be located at the Bourbon Prison Monumental Complex in Avellino.
Part of the ‘Turismo delle Radici’ project, which focuses on returning to ancient Irpinian homes through conservation and innovation, the design contract is valued at 345,456.45 euros. The deadline for the tender is September 29.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation has allocated 70 million euros to the Province of Avellino for this initiative, with potential for additional funding. Province President Fausto Picone noted that this marks a significant acceleration for the territory, adding that a tender for the design of the Mulino Giardino di Tufo is expected to be published next week.
