Marvel Studios is re-releasing the 2019 blockbuster Avengers: Endgame in theaters under the title ‘Avengers: Endgame Encore’. The special edition is scheduled to arrive in cinemas globally around September 24–25, 2026.

This version will feature approximately four to five minutes of new and exclusive footage, including a custom introduction and a post-credits scene designed to bridge the story directly to the upcoming film, Avengers: Doomsday. The additional content is reportedly exclusive to premium formats such as IMAX and Disney Infinity Vision. Some reports suggest the re-release may also include minor visual adjustments and dialogue changes.

The re-release serves as a strategic buildup to Avengers: Doomsday, which is set for release in late 2026. The move has sparked discussion among fans regarding the use of new footage as a theatrical incentive. Additionally, the Russo Brothers have clarified that Robert Downey Jr.’s portrayal of Victor von Doom in the upcoming film will have no narrative connection to his previous role as Tony Stark.
