Avianca adds new Argentina routes and third daily Ipiales‑Bogotá flight

The Argentine Ministry of Economy authorized Avianca to operate regular international passenger and cargo services on the Cali → Buenos Aires and Cartagena → Buenos Aires routes, with seven weekly frequencies on each line. The service will run from November 2023 through March 2027, expanding Avianca’s presence in the Argentine market alongside its existing Bogotá‑Buenos Aires and Bogotá‑Córdoba flights.

Within Colombia, Avianca introduced a third daily flight on the Ipiales → Bogotá corridor, responding to rising passenger demand and improving schedule flexibility for travelers from the Nariño department and the Ecuadorian border. Airport officials highlighted the added frequency as a boost for regional commerce, tourism and connectivity.
