Aviation diversions reported for Eurowings and EasyJet

Two separate aviation incidents involving diversions occurred recently. An Eurowings Airbus A320 traveling from Ibiza to Düsseldorf was forced to make an emergency landing in Toulouse, France, after a loading error resulted in unaccompanied baggage being left on board. Following EU safety regulations that require such luggage to be removed and re-inspected, the aircraft underwent a two-and-a-half-hour security check. Due to night flight restrictions in Düsseldorf, the flight eventually landed in Cologne, with passengers transferred to Düsseldorf via ground transport.

Separately, an EasyJet flight from Basel to Marrakesh diverted to Málaga, Spain, due to a medical emergency on board. Although a doctor was present on the aircraft, the crew decided to land in Málaga to ensure the passenger received urgent assistance. After a two-hour delay on the tarmac to allow for medical intervention and refueling, the flight continued to its destination.
