Dominican carrier Arajet moved 922,593 passengers on domestic flights between January and June 2026 and added more than 100,000 connecting travelers, becoming the first airline from the Dominican Republic to surpass one million passengers in a single semester. The airline accounted for 8.4 % of all travelers entering or leaving the country during that period, ranking third among national operators and carrying 92 % of passengers flown by Dominican airlines. The United States was its main market, followed by Colombia and Argentina, with Buenos Aires the busiest destination.

Colombia’s Aeronáutica Civil reported that 29 million passengers used the country’s airports in the same six‑month span, a 5.5 % year‑on‑year increase. Domestic traffic reached 16.4 million (up 6.1 %) while international traffic grew 4.8 %. Air cargo and mail volumes rose to 505,775 tonnes, a 5.6 % gain.

State carrier Satena transported 745,944 passengers on 22,057 flights, achieving a 76.4 % load factor and a 7 % increase over the previous year. The airline now serves 28 of Colombia’s 32 departments, covering 85 % of the territory, and has opened several new routes while adding an ATR 72‑600 to its fleet.

Mexico’s Felipe Ángeles International Airport (AIFA) recorded 35,898 international passengers in June 2026, a 20.1 % rise year‑on‑year, and handled a total of 595,191 passengers that month, up 9.3 %. The airport logged more than 181,400 foreign travelers for the year, despite a 5.9 % decline from the first half of 2025, benefitting from the FIFA World Cup events.
