Argentina’s civil aviation authority reported a record 24.57 million passengers in the first half, a 1 % rise driven by open‑sky policies. In Brazil, Natal International Airport recorded 1,387,440 passengers in the first half of 2026, an 18 % jump year‑on‑year, driven by new international services from JetSMART to Buenos Aires and GOL to Montevideo. Colombia’s Aeronáutica Civil announced 29 million passengers in the same period, a 5.5 % year‑on‑year gain, with domestic traffic reaching 16.4 million (+6.1 %) and international up 4.8 %.
